This advertising concept for Halifax Building Society (now HBOS bank) has stood the test of time.

This simple concept of using groups of people to create shapes as a vehicle to illustrate aspects of the Halifax was the start of a poster campaign but it was soon realised that this was an idea with legs as they say in advertising.
(Sorry for the pun but I just cannot help it).

Anyway, the campaign rolled out into national TV, Press and Magazines.

Running since 1983, this campaign was possibly the longest running
campaign on UK television for a financial institution. The TV shoot
was done on location
at an army barracks on Salisbury Plain, England.

The TV commercial was nominated for a Clio Award in New York.

 You don't have to be a plc to afford excellent advertising concepts. My core business is with owner managed SME's.
